Review: Unica Pointed Shoes

I’m fond of wearing flats that’s why I seldom buy shoes with heels. I had a few shoes with heels that I sometimes wear to work. But most of the time, my feet gets tired and I ended up wearing flats again at midday.

One time, while shopping for clothes, we passed by Unica (Unica Hija) store. I haven’t bought anything from this brand. But I found that they have nice and unique clothes with styles almost similar to Plains and Prints (as well as the price range). They were on sale that’s why I was able to pick a few tops. Then my eye caught this pointed shoes / slip ons with heels in nude color. When I tried it on, I easily fell in love with it. It fits perfectly on my feet. I was quite hesitant at buying it since first, I seldom wear heels, then secondly, it is quite expensive and not part of sale. But then, there’s this “calling” that made me buy the shoes. I thought of various justifications for me to buy it. I can wear it not only at work and formal occasions, but also I can wear it on casual days. Besides, its a slip on which is easier to wear and wouldn’t make my heel dark in case I get blisters. And so I bought it. Luckily, the sales lady said that it was sale at 10% off. Not bad. The price was Php 1,399.75 so less 10% that’s Php 1,259.78.

The Unica pointed shoes I bought is in Nude color (not sure if they have other colors). The heels was about half inch. The material was like a suede leather, not sure what it is called but it was soft to touch. It has a metallic looking strap in gold tone but made of plastic. The pointed part has perforated floral style which makes it versatile to wear on formal or casual days.

It was yesterday when I first wore this Unica pointed shoes. I thought I might get blisters on my small toes as the style is pointed. And most of the time, for first time wearer of shoes, you have to “break it in”. Luckily, I didn’t get any blisters and the pointed style isn’t painful at all. I walked, run, wearing this shoes for more than eight hours in the office. Surprisingly, I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort wearing this shoes! It was so comfy! I think the soft suede leather like material made the difference. Since it was soft, it is not painful. Also, I thought the metallic like strap will scratch my feet but it did not. It isn’t bothersome at all. And best of all, my feet didn’t get tired even after wearing it for long hours! That was really a surprise! I am so happy that I bought this. So worth it! Too happy that I even wrote a review on it and even posted it on my youtube channel! I seldom post reviews about shoes, bags or clothes. But not this time. I just wanted to share how happy and satisfied I am with my purchase even if it is quite expensive (for me).  I’m even more proud that this comfortable shoes is proudly Philippine made!

Midnight Madness at the Glorietta

The opening of new Glorietta was just perfect for Glorietta's Midnight Madness.  Meaning there will be more stores to choose from.  The New Glorietta opened last November 5 with some stores and restaurants from Glorietta 5 and Park Square added to this new section.  Weeks after, Glorietta held its Midnight Madness which is still ongoing until today.  The Midnight Madness started last November 14 and it will end today.

There were lots of great finds in this midnight madness.  As what I have previously blogged about Toms Shoes, I also get to check out great finds in Kamiseta, Bayo, Toys 'R' Us, Lacoste, Cinderella, The Ramp Crossings, Terranova, and many others.  All items in Kamiseta are on sale from 50% to 70% off.  There are even blouses and jeans that are priced for only Php 200!  Bayo also provides good sale finds with 30% to 50% off on some of their items.  There are a few items which are priced at Php 250 only.  Toys 'R' Us have 10% on all of their items.  There's also a free gift wrapping service when you reached Php 300 worth of items.  This is a great place to shop for kids' toys as Christmas Gifts.  My favorite store, The Ramp Crossings, also have good finds.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to buy any.  But again, the brands The Ramp, Possibility, Faith Hope and Love have bargain clothes for as low as Php 300.  All of the items (or should I say shoes) from Lacoste are on sale, even their new arrivals.  Discounts ranges from 10% to 60% off.  My other favorite store, Mango, didn't participate in the sale.  I guess it is because they held their own sale season.  Same with Zara.

Another attraction to bargain hunters on this sale is their mini bazaar located at the activity center.  Just like in any other bazaars, you will find items for as low as Php 50.  There's even an Ukay Ukay at the stage area.

This season's midnight madness were not as jammed pack as their previous years' sale.  The only time I saw a lot of people was last Friday.  Yesterday, at 10pm, there seem to be a very few shoppers already.

You still have a few hours left to do your shopping at Glorietta's Midnight Madness.  In case you are far from Makati, Alabang Town Center is also having their sale as well as the Trinoma Mall.  So whether you're in the north or in the south, you can enjoy Ayala Malls' sale.  In case you are an SM loyal shopper, SM Makati is also having their payday sale which also ends today.

My Sale Finds: Toms Shoes

Today is the 1st day of Glorietta's midnight madness.  It will end on Sunday, Nov. 18.  Similarly, SM Makati is also having their payday sale until Sunday.  It's sale season so I don't wanna miss out on a great bargain.

My friend and I don't have any specific item on mind so we just stroll around Glorietta although she wanted to check some shoes while I wanted to check for some wallets.  We chance upon Nothing But Water and saw Toms Shoes on Sale at 30% off.  The women's shoes now only cost about Php 2,100 from original price of Php 2,900.  Were about to choose from the women's section and try them out when my friend saw the kids section was on sale too.  She was thinking of getting one for her daughter who is just 5 month old (excited lang, haha!)  The kids' price are a little cheaper.  From original price of Php 2,295, it now only sells for Php 1,600.  What's amazing is that the kids' shoes have big sizes, good enough for adults like us!  Normally we are size 7, but for Toms youth, we are size 5.  Another good thing is that even if it is on kids' section, the available designs were not all too colorful nor childish.  It's actually stylish!

Classics Navy Palmetto

Meleni

I got myself the pink one in somewhat Aztec design.  This is their Meleni collection.  My friend also got the same design only in red color.  There's also color violet available for this design.  My sister asked me to buy one for her.  She got the blue denim wash design.  This is their Classics Navy Palmetto collection.

There are a lot of styles to choose from and its quite difficult to choose.  You can only decide when your 1st choice of design doesn't have a size 5 from the kids section.  The women's section also have nice designs but of course we're after the cheaper cost! Haha!  I think the men's section are also on sale, we were just not able to ask it.  The salesmen told us that only Toms in Nothing But Water are on sale.  Also, the stock availability are only 1 per size per design.  There's also Toms store in the new Glorietta and it seems like it is not on sale.  I'm not sure with the Rustan's branch.

If you're a fan of Toms or been eyeing to get one.  This is your chance.  It's very rare that Toms get this great sale!

SM Megamall's 3-Day Sale

I am not always looking forward to SM Megamall's Sale because I know it will be jammed pack.  Even if the mall is not on sale, there's always a lot of people there.  But this time, I got this urge to check out their 3-day sale specifically visiting Forever 21 store.  Well, I'm glad I did! I've got pretty good finds from Forever 21 and Melissa Shoes! Below are some of the items I bought.

50% off on each item
I was so happy with the swimwear I bought from Forever 21.  Even if summer is still far away, as a beach lover, I know I will get to wear these at any season.  And fortunately, I have an upcoming beach trip this November.  I'm not so into printed swimwear but I still grab this pair because its cheap!  Good thing I found a pair for these.  Each costs Php 309 from the original price of Php 620 each.  So basically this pair is only Php 618! Way cheaper than those sold in Landmark and SM!

this only cost Php 99!

the back side of the bikini bottom
I especially love the blue bikini bottom because its just Php 99!  Besides, blue is my favorite color!  It's just unfortunate that I can't find a bikini top to pair with it.  I did find some but the size is large.  But it doesn't matter.  I can just mix and match this bottom to my existing bikini tops.

You can fit these swimwear at Forever 21 before buying so good thing I know my size is always small.  I also bought a skirt (with belt) and a dress (great for the beach! haha!) for just less than Php 500 each.  Great buys!

Melissa Ultragirl + Gareth Pugh shoes
I never had any Melissa shoes but I have loved a few of its collections like the Campana and Ultragirl.  I'm just having difficulty in buying them because I'm seeing a lot of fakes and similar items sold in side streets.  I want most of my shoes to be somehow unique.  So when I saw the Melissa shoes "booth" along the bridgeway of SM Megamall, I didn't hesitate to check them out.  I tried a lot of shoes and sandals and everything was at 20%-40% off!  I almost hoarded a lot of their flats and sandals which only costs Php 1,000!  Anyway, my eye caught this Melissa Ultragirl + Gareth Pugh shoes.  I wanted the red and white combination but my feet looks darker when I tried it on.  So I opted for teh safer color, black and white.  It's not really my favorite but it looks good on my feet.  Plus its so comfy!  I'm just not sure if I can wear this with my office attire.  Anyway, this pair of flats originally costs Php 3,250 but I bought it for only Php 1,900, that's more than 40% off!

There are other good finds I saw like in Unarosa with up to 70% off, Kipling bags and wallet at 40%-50% off, Esprit at up to 50% off, Giordano at up to 70% off, Guess bags and wallets at 50% off and many more!  My other favorite brand, Mango, also have sale items but only on some of their bags.

The 3-day sale ends today.  So you still have a few hours left to shop.  SM Megamall closes today at 11pm.

My Sale Finds: Shoes!

Since July is really a sale season for most of the stores, of course I won't let this season pass without buying shoes!  Just like any woman, aside from bags, shoes is one of their favorite things.  I get to check out the shoes from Primadonna and Shoe Box.

It's my first time to buy shoes from Primadonna.  They've been on sale since May or June, I suppose.    Good thing there are still a few good finds at this time.  I've been seeing nice shoes from this store endorsed by Anne Curtis in her Instagram account.  But most of it are high heels and I'm not so fond of wearing them.  So when I visited their branch in SM San Lazaro, I really don't have intention of buying any shoes until I saw this pair, I immediately felt "the calling".

Even if this shoes have high heels, its design is wedge so it won't be too painful for my legs.  I really felt that this wedge is really meant for me.  When I first tried it on, I got quite hesitation of buying it since its a size 7.  I'm normally a size 8 for sandals and open toe shoes.  So I put it back on the rack after trying it on.  But there's really a calling.  When I saw the other girl is trying it on, I decided to get it once she let go of it.  Good thing she did!  So I tried it again, this time both on my left and right foot and tried walking.  It was really high for me and my toes are quite peeping out.  But it doesn't matter, it still look good on my feet.  Viola! I bought it on sale for only Php 600 and it was the last pair!  They have this also in white but I prefer this black and brown combination.  I guess it was really meant for me :)

Shoebox is another favorite store of mine especially for their ballet flats because its very comfortable and of course affordable.  I think I own more than 10 pairs of ballet flats from this store.  So when I drop by their store in Glorietta, they have a rack that is on sale.  The espadrille type shoes that caught my eyes before was now on sale.  I tried the red on and it looks good on my feet.  With just Php 500, I bought it without hesitation.

When I was about to pay it, the sales lady, out of nowhere, handed me another pair of flats and asked me to try it on as it was their last pair.  And because of that, its only Php 200.  And so I did tried it on and I somehow loved it too.  Besides, its super bargain so I bought it as well.  It wasn't as comfy as my other Shoebox flat but nevertheless I still bought it because of its trendy style.  Most of my ballet flats are common in design.  This somehow adds a new look on it.

I smell something fishy with this black and yellow flats.  It was taken out from a big black plastic bag.  If it was indeed the last pair, it should still have been displayed.  Also, when I asked if I could pay in debit card, she told me that it was only allowed on the red espadrille but not on this black flats.   Hmm... whatever their business are, I'm still glad I got a great bargain.

FitFlop's Summer Sale

I was able to avail FitFlop's Summer Sale as advertised in their Facebook fan page.  The Walkstar III is at 30% off from Php 3,290 its now only Php 2,303.  I went directly to FitFlop's store in Greenbelt 3.  I'm not sure if other store which sells FitFlops like Shoe Salon and Res Toe Run also have the Walkstar III sale.  Arriving at their store in Greenbelt 3, there's no signage that indicates that they are having a sale.  I had to ask their sale staff for it.  They direct me to their rack of Walkstar III which are truly at 30% off as advertised in Facebook.  However, there are more colors available in the store that is on sale (like the Patent Silver and Patent Bronze color).  I didn't see any Softy Henry Green on the rack.  Well maybe it's just in the Greenbelt branch.  I haven't checked the other branches.  3 new colors were also released but not part of the sale.  I took a picture of it through my phone so apologies if it isn't too clear.

Those that were crossed out were new releases and not part of the sale.
The Electra and Pietra was also on sale at 30% off.  Sorry I no longer took a picture of it.  But there were only a few colors available on sale.

The Greenbelt branch offers deferred payment, zero interest for either 3 months or 6 months, with minimum purchase of Php 3,000.  For sale items such as the Walkstar III, minimum purchase should be Php 6,000 to avail the deferred payment.  I asked if I can get the Walkstar III Patent in Silver and Whirl in Black and pay it by installment.  At first they hesitated since they claim it will be different transaction on sale and regular item.  After some haggling, they agreed.  Since I've been eyeing Whirl for such a long time, I gave in.  Instead of buying 2 Walkstar just to reach the Php 6,000 for deferred payment, I get Walkstar III Patent in Silver and Whirl in Black.  It cost me Php 6,093, deferred payment for 6 months at zero interest.  Not bad.  I think *wink*

Whirl and Walkstar
I'm not sure if all FitFlop branches offer deferred payment but I believe Res Toe Run in Glorietta does.  The Walkstar III summer sale is until April 30 while the other items on sale are good until supplies last.

Finally I get to retire my old FitFlop Walkstar I after using it for almost a year.  By the way, I also got it on sale and blogged about it too!

How Inconsiderate I Can Be?

Following up my post on Ups and Downs of Being an Online Seller, I just had to rant about this negative feedback I have received from ebay.  I am not a frequent seller as I only sell stuff when I needed to.  I can't recall why I post that blog before but maybe because of the same buyer I have encountered in ebay.  She left me a negative feedback last December which I just read now.

She claimed that I was an inconsiderate seller, the first she encountered.  I don't wanna post details and explain further my side but is waiting for payment for almost two months mean inconsiderate?  Is texting for following up payment mean inconsiderate?  Yes, I do understand her personal reasons for delaying the payment, that's why I waited.  Still she called me inconsiderate and even posted negative feedback.  If I am inconsiderate, I should have posted her negative feedback as well as being a joy bidder.  But being "inconsiderate" me (sounding sarcastic), I didn't do that because I know she is not really a joy bidder.  But still I left her feedback though, stating that she never settled payment.  She just suddenly disappeared and no longer replied to my messages.  This maybe made her leave a negative feedback on me.

It's just so sad that she is also a seller yet she didn't understand my other side of the story.  You can never wait for a buyer forever to settle her payment.  In my case, I did wait, and still I am tagged as inconsiderate.  If I no longer receive response from the prospect buyer, shall I just be quiet about it and do nothing?  What if she's already dead and I still waited?  How will I know?

You're insights will be very much appreciated on what points did I become inconsiderate.

The Ups and Downs of Being an Online Seller

I've been an online seller for several years already, selling pre-loved items, Victoria's Secret products, US clothing, etc.  Mostly I'm selling at multiply and ebay.  For all these years, I've experienced a lot as a seller.  Below are just the Ups and Downs I've experienced as an online seller.  I'll start with the positive side.

The UPs
Understanding seller
Personally, I know I'm an understanding person.  I understand everyone's need, preference and situation.  As a seller, there are buyers who pays late.  When they inform me of those delay payments, I understand their situation.  I don't give them specific date to settle payment after they inform me of the delay.  They're the one's who give date of payment.  It is sometimes a good feeling when your buyers sent you feedback that you're understanding.

Accommodating seller
There are also buyers who prefer other mode of payments other than what I've specified.  If it's not hassle on my part, then I gave it to their preference.  And of course, just like any buying-selling scheme, you will expect buyers to haggle.  I accept haggling as long as it is reasonable.  If the items they're trying to haggle are those pre-loved items, I often gave in as it is already a used item.  Besides, most of the items I'm selling have a very little capital so there's no really big loss on my part.

From Buyer to Acquaintance to Friendship
Since I've build up my reputation as a seller, I have some repeat customers.  Some of which have eventually become my friends.  When a certain customer is also a buyer, we exchange items or swap whatever items available on our shop.  Selling online is also a way of widening your network.

Extra income
Of course one major benefit in selling online is getting an extra income out of it, most especially if it's just a sideline job, similar to my store.  I sell items whatever I feel like to.  My siblings sometimes uses my account for them to sell their merchandise.  For pre-loved items, there are people who really believes in the saying, there is gold in other people's trash.  Well, I hope they find gold in some of my items.

The DOWN's
Joy bidder / Bogus buyers
As a seller, you really can't get away from those bogus buyers and joy bidders.  In my case, most of my experience were joy bidders.  Well, they're not really joy bidders but most of the time they still contact me just to say they will no longer be getting the item.  The most common reason I heard from these joy bidders are they got hospitalized or they have been sick for the longest time.  Out of pity, of course you will no longer force him/her to pay you.  I think its much better to just be honest and say that they don't have money.  But then again, why bid if you don't have money, right?  Whatever their reason are, whether true or not, I just let karma take its course.

Too long reservation
In addition to not paying after bidding, it is also frustrating when a buyer reserves the item for the longest time then later on decided not to get it where in fact there is another buyer interested with your item but you can't give it out due to prior reservation made.  By the time the reservation was lifted, the second buyer is no longer interested with your item.  It is like a double whammy.  You are at lost in both situations.

Increasing clutter
My room is already full of unsold items.  This is most especially when my siblings decided to sell their stuff through my online shop.  They stock their items in my room!  Since I am also busy at work, I don't have that luxury of time to immediately post their items online.  That is when my room gets cluttered.

Patience is a virtue
As a seller, you will encounter different types of people.  Whatever their needs are, concerns, inquiries, etc.  you have to be patient with it.  Once they find you unaccommodating or unfriendly, it turns them off and you lose a potential buyer.  I should know as I am also a buyer myself.  When you accommodate a customer's request, that's when you experience abusive customers.  This is where your patience is tested.  That is why you should not be stubborn and learn to lengthen your patience.

Don't get me wrong.  There maybe downside in selling but I still enjoy it.  There were some who compliments me that I am a good seller (but my line of work isn't in sales, it's the other way around).  Besides, whenever I'm selling online, I also get to "window" shop online.  That's multi-tasking!   There maybe other ups and downs on being an online seller.  Do you have one to share?

Bag Essentials: What's in Your Bag?

It was raining cats and dog the whole afternoon until the evening yesterday.  Well, the rain isn't strong but the wind is.  From my understanding, the tropical storm "Falcon" will not set foot in Philippines but it will carry strong winds.  And yes it does.  There was no storm signal announcement but the continuous pouring of rain make it seem like there is a typhoon.

With constant rain experienced during the week, I always brought with me my small, foldable umbrella.  I am also using my Longchamp Le Pliage bag being waterproof.  I decided to wear my wedge ankle boots since I don't want my feet to get wet.  I also have my multi-way shawl in my bag just in case I get cold.  I thought these are enough to keep me warm, protected and getting wet from the rain.  I thought I was prepared for the rain.  But I was wrong.

At around 6.30pm, rains never stopped pouring.  I know I need to get going already from the office as the lines in the terminal will definitely be full.  And surely, there will be floods in the south area that will cause traffic.  So I immediately left the office and went straight to the Edsa Carpack terminal (underneath the Ayala MRT station).  I was in the terminal about 7:15pm.  Whoa! The place is jammed-packed!  The queue for the van in my area was so long, the longest I've ever seen.  So I decided to get some snacks first at Jollibee before heading to the line to buy chips (you need these chips as your "ticket" before boarding the van).  I got stranded at the shuttle terminal for almost 3 hours!  Good thing I was able to have my snack already.  This was the longest time I have waited for the van to arrive.

Waiting for almost 3 hours, I get to realize the essential stuff one should carry in her bag during these times.  I've listed them here which you may find useful.
  • Umbrella - I realized that it will be best to have a bigger umbrella when the rain gets strong and with winds blowing.  I had experienced my small umbrella getting carried by the wind and even I, myself, thought that I will be "blown away" by the wind.
  • Waterproof bag - Good thing my Longchamp is waterproof.  I don't know how my bag got wet even if I have an umbrella.
  • Jacket - A waterproof jacket is better during these times.  Because of the strong winds, I got wet from my waist below.  Having a jacket could protect my clothes from getting wet, thus keeping me warmer.
  • Slippers - If you'll be crossing or passing by some flooded area, it's best if you're wearing slippers or flip flops.  I was wearing an ankle boots to keep my feet from getting wet.  This is also ok since I know I won't be crossing any flooded area.  My only mistake was it is a wedge shoe.  My feet and legs got tired wearing it for almost 3 hours of standing.
  • Foldable ballet flats - This may come in handy in case you don't have slippers in your bag and you are wearing a shoe with heels.  I know coming from the office, many are wearing office shoes, meaning a quite formal shoes with heels.  This ballet flats can be your alternative foot wear once you're already outside the office.  You can also replace your shoes with these once your feet got tired.  It is a closed shoe making it still appropriate (and matching) for your office attire.
  • Gadgets - Essential gadgets such as your mp3 player, game consoles or even your cellphone games can keep you company anytime while waiting.  I forgot I had movies installed in my cellphone.  This could have been my companion while waiting for the shuttle.
  • Snacks - I'll try to make it a habit to bring along biscuits or cookies in my bag.  Having this in your bag can keep you from starving in case you cannot leave the line in queue.  A menthol candy is helpful too in case you feel a little dizzy, just like what I had experienced.
I have all of these in my bag except for the jacket and slippers/ballet flats.  I really didn't expect the weather to be like this.  If I only knew, I should have brought my jacket and slippers from the office.  So the next item in my shopping list would be a foldable ballet flats.  Care to add more bag essentials during this rainy season?

My Sale Finds

This is already an overdue post.  Items bought several weeks ago.  Actually, not all of these are on sale but I still got it at a quite cheaper price.  My sale finds are Longchamp bag, Fitflop Walkstar and Paez shoes.

First item: Longchamp LM Metal in White, medium short handle.  I got this for only Php 5,000 from a multiply seller.  Store in Landmark sell similar item for about Php 9,000.  This is my 3rd Longchamp bag. I think I'm gonna stop collecting LC bags and shift to another brand.  Hmmm... what could it be?

Second item: Fitflop Walkstar I.  I so wanted a Fitflop the first time I heard of it.  But every time I try it on, it doesn't look good on my feet.  But this time, I don't care anymore.  I got this from the midnight madness sale in Glorietta last May 13.  Fitflops were at 30% off sale in Shoe Salon and Rest Toe Run.  I bought mine in Shoe Salon.  I bought it for only Php 1,700+.  I believe Fitflops are also on sale in this weekend's Green Light Sale in Trinoma.  So get yours now!

Third and last item: Paez shoes.  I've been wanting this for the longest time but I can't seem to find the right size.  Even if they say that this is a Tom's shoes knock off, it still carries its own brand.  And it is made in Argentina.  Going back to the size, good thing the sales man assisted me in finding the right size.  Because of his effort in assisting me, I felt ashamed if I don't buy the shoes that's why I bought it even if it's not on sale.  The price for it is Php 1,850.  Well, this isn't exactly the design I've been wanting but it's ok.  It's really hard to find the right size for my slim feet.

I remember I also bought 2 Plains and Prints blouse 2 months ago when it was on sale.  I got it for less than Php 500 each.  I just love sale season.  You can really get to pick a great great find.  So what's your sale story?  Care to share? :)

Boots... after 2 days

Remember my blog post about boots, whether or not should I buy? Well, in just 2 days, I was able to buy one!  I'm really worried on how to protect my feet during my trip so I searched for shoes that can do just that, eliminating the sneakers/rubber shoes section.  I've chosen about 4 shoes but they don't seem to be worn with socks.  So when I was about to go home, I passed by Naf Naf in Cinderella Glorietta.  There's this one boots that caught my attention.  Unfortunately, they don't have my size but the SA convince me to try on their boots that is 2 inches bigger than my shoe size since their sizing is really small.  To my amazement, the size 9 boots fits perfectly!  I fell in love with it.  I took pictures and send it to my sister for her "approval".  And I even waited for my friend for her to see it and get her opinion.  Gladly, they both liked it and convinced me that it's already cheap.  With a few walks to see if I'll hurt my toes (fortunately not!), without hesitation, I bought it!  The price? Only Php 1,249 from the original price of Php 2,498!

I just used a cam phone so forgive me if the photo was too bright...

I am pretty much satisfied with my boots.  All the stuff that I'm looking for is here.  You can even wear it in two ways!  Love it! I'm now ready to travel!

Boots: To Buy or Not To Buy

Even if wearing boots has become a fashion trend here in the Philippines, I still am not eager to have one for myself.  Well, not exactly.  I own one, a faux leather ankle boots which I bought 3 or 4 years ago.  But I only got to wear it once.  I still feel awkward wearing it.  Maybe because my perception for boots is worn only during cold weather and Philippines is not one.  Yeah it can get chilly on the "ber" months until February but still it is a humid country.  No offense to those who love boots.  This is just me.

But now, I'm having second thoughts of owning another boots for myself.  My reason, I have two upcoming out of the country trips this month and they say the weather is cold.  Browsing through my shoes, I only have rubber shoes that can cover my whole feet.  I don't feel like wearing it as part of my outfit or get up.  I also have closed shoes like ballet flats but only my toes are covered.  It will be "unpleasant" sight if I wore socks with my ballet flats.  That is when I thought of getting boots just for this trip.  Yes, just for this trip.  Wouldn't that be expensive?  I mean I'll be only wearing it for this trip and for sure I don't have plans of travelling to a colder country anytime soon.  Now that's my dilemma, whether or not to buy boots.

Right now, I'm in search for cheapest boots I can find over the internet.  I have browsed through the malls and department stores and the cheapest I can find cost Php 2,000.  That's still expensive for me! Haha!  My budget is only Php 1,000 max.  Well, I can stretch my budget up to Php 1,500 but I prefer not too.  I'm even considering a slightly used boots! Haha!  Can anyone help?  I prefer a mid-calf length boots and suede material.  But whatever you may offer, I would gladly check it out.

I hope someone can reply soon as my trip is already next week!
